Drake State Takes Giant Leap with NASA Collaboration

As an esteemed institution, Drake State takes immense pride in its recent selection by NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center to participate in the groundbreaking Moon-to-Mars Planetary Autonomous Construction Technology program. This prestigious collaboration marks a significant milestone in our institution's journey towards pushing the boundaries of innovation and exploration.

My first project at Drake State was the integration of a large-scale robot, a task that required meticulous planning and execution. After countless hours of assembling resources and coordinating efforts, a dedicated team comprising Drake State instructors, students, and personnel from Marshall Space Flight Center embarked on an extraordinary endeavor – 3D printing the tallest concrete structure in the entire state of Alabama.

This monumental achievement stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment, technical prowess, and collaborative spirit that define our institution. By harnessing cutting-edge technologies and fostering cross-disciplinary partnerships, we have not only pushed the boundaries of what is possible but also paved the way for future advancements in autonomous construction and space exploration.
